The Law of Homeschooling

The Law of Homeschooling is a resource guide for homeschool families and advocates, public school teachers and officials, college and university professors, students, and other interested members of the general public. The monograph does not advocate for or against homeschooling, but provides detailed information on a subject that invokes passion on both sides of the issue. The information can be used by homeschool advocates and public school officials to do what is in the interest of children, collectively and individually, and will help to ensure that each child receives an appropriate education within the context and scope of the law. Also included is an overview of the history of homeschooling in the United States as well as updates to homeschool statutory and regulatory requirements for all fifty states and Washington D.C.
